Characterization of Motorcycle Encroachments in the US

Worked as an undergraduate researcher at the SAFETY IMPACT Lab, quantitatively comparing motorcycle crash conditions to other vehicle types.

Professional responsibilities included:

  • Development of more than 10 scripts in RStudio and Python to analyze crash conditions from large crash databases

  • Development of 15+ professional figures summarizing crash differences across different vehicle types

  • Development of a manuscript summarizing research results

  • Conducting a thorough literature review to understand previous work done in the field

  • Collaboration with other researchers and professionals working on the project
